WARNER BROS WORLD THEME PARK (YAS ISLAND)

Set to open in 2018 on Yas Island, Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi will feature six immersive lands: Metropolis and Gotham City, inspired by the universe of DC Super Heroes and Super­ Villains; Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, and Dynamite Gulch, themed after iconic animated properties such as Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera; and Warner Bros. Plaza, reminiscent of old Hollywood, where these seminal characters and stories were originally brought to life.

Warner Bros. Worldâ„¢ Abu Dhabi, will be a one-of-a-kind, world-class destination and home to 29 state-of-the-art thrill rides, interactive family friendly attractions, and unique live entertainment.

The theme park will also include retail outlets featuring a wide collection of merchandise inspired by Warner Bros. franchises as well as a full range of dining options from full-service sit down to grab and go.

From the action and adventure of DC to the wacky and wonderful world of Looney Tunes, this immersive and interactive new indoor experience will bring some of the world’s most popular stories and characters under one roof including: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as well as Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones amongst others.

IDC was awarded the CYC- Cyclomaric Walls & Paint at Cartoon Junction & Gotham City with an area of 25,000 sqm & the Extreme Height Partitions (Full Height Performance Partitions) project wide with an area of 20,000 sqm using heavy duty Jumbo Studs. In addition to the Standard Partitions & Shaftwalls that took place on the project with an area of 10,000 sqm. Work constitutes further with Design, Supply & Installation of 120 Clouds- structural element along with double layered fabric (transparent & translucent); and Acoustic Ceiling Tiles – Customized Color (approx. 15,500 sqm) to suit the theme in Cartoon Junction and ACME Factory respectively. The ceiling scope extended to 4500 sqm of various types of office ceiling works.

The scope of work also included the design, supply & installation of acoustic insulation panels to rhythm the NRC requirement in theme/show assets with a quantity of approximately 55,000 sqm using rope access system for fixation in confined & high congested locations.
